Content. When creating your site, try to review it as though you are your prospective customer. Is your content interesting. Are the keywords related to your content? Is anyone searching for what you are selling? Does your content answer the question that this customer is asking by searching for the keywords you used. These are some of the things that the spiders will be looking at when deciding whether or not to add your site to the search engine and where your site will show up.

One of the first things you need is a domain name. I use Godaddy. They are inexpensive and you get your domain name immediately. I would not however, use their hosting service. One of the main reasons is they will filter out your domain name email. So you will miss potentially important queries from your customers but they are perfectly fine for buying your domain names.

You will also need a realiable, affordable hosting plan. I use Webhostingpad.
